SFAF PA x Ronald McDonald House Charity PHILADELPHIA Donation Event

On June 21, 2024, our team arrived to the Pennsylvania Ronald McDonald House at a very important time: their 50th anniversary. To contribute to this special time, we helped transfer packages, set up a display table, and cleaned the tables and chairs for 180 families.

As we helped around, we passed by many families, and were overjoyed seeing their happy grins and several looks of gratitude. These were families enjoying their time together, and it warmed our hearts knowing they were not just surviving, but thriving.

One encounter in particular we will never forget. As we set up the display table full of lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and other much needed goods, a dad came up to the table. When we told him everything was free, his face lit up and he whooped in joy. This simple response reminded us that we should appreciate every aspect of life, and made us even more grateful that we could do our part in giving even the smallest relief to these families.
